Girls football

9th March 2020

What is KPR Wildcats?
KPR Wildcats football centre offer girls aged 7-11 a chance to try football and provide regular opportunities to play. All girls are welcome whether or not they have played before

Where is the training and how long does each session last?
Sessions will last for one hour every week at Orleans Park School, Richmond Road, Twickenham, Middlesex TW1 3BB on the Astro facility. Sessions are focused on having fun, making friends be active through football and developing specific football skills. All levels welcome – complete beginners as well as girls who played previously.

The Coaches;
All sessions are delivered by FA qualified coaches. Head Coaches are Tomek Sowacki FA L2, also coaching at Chelsea FC Foundation and Hywel Davies FA L3 (UEFA B) also coaching at Fulham FC.

What should my daughter wear?
We recommend that girls wear comfortable sportswear and closed-toe sports shoes, as we are on an Astro pitch astro football shoos are good too but “No studs” and shin pads if possible. If she’s a budding goalkeeper, we recommend packing her a pair of gloves.

Does my daughter need to bring anything?
We provide all the equipment for the activities, so no need to bring anything apart from a bottle of water.

My daughter needs some extra help. Can she still come to KPR Wildcats?
Yes. We believe that football is for everyone. We want to ensure that every girl has an opportunity to take part and has a great experience. Please contact us kprwildcats@gmail.com If they need a bit of extra help, a parent, carer or siblings can join them.

Can I come along to watch during the session?
Absolutely Yes! We encourage parents and carers to stay and watch.
